Senthan replied to Poonkothai's article by attacking Indian Tamils. Hmm very funny where were the heroes of Jaffna when Upcountry Tamils were disenfranchised!

Senthan have you been to Tamilnadu? How many Temples have been built for Rajni or even MGR.

Tamilnadu supported Eelam cause so much inspite of the Jaffna Tamils selfish and unconcerned approach to the Stateless situation of the Tamils of Indian origin whoose blood and sweat contributed to the wealth of Sri Lanka.

Thousands of Indian Slave Tamil's wasted youth-hours on a cause which would not bring any difference to their lives. It only reminds me of the poem of the Irish man WB Yeats" An Irish airman foresee's his death" .

Karunanidhi lost his power as CM of TN twice for supporting the cause of LTTE. Karunanidhi is no noble man, but he has built Tamilnadu into a highly developed state today. Tamilnadu is India's powerhouse .

In the cause of Eelam it is the mediocore approach of the Eelam Tamils in India or Europe that has led to their downfall. They shun from public participation in political debate. No one actually knows what is the problem faced by the people in Wanni or the East. Some intelectuall Tamils participate but they are the ones who say the problem i s LTTE not genocide or ethnic cleansing by SLA or GOSL.

Indian Tamil arenot enslaved by brahminism or Aryan dictates. It it the Jaffna Tamils running after the brahmins in the temples, Jaffna Tamils slave mentality never brought them nearer to the Tamils in India.

The new found wealth from being regugees blinded them and they wanted to rub shoulder with the actual 'Indian slave Tamils'. I have spoken to and heard from Eelam Tamils how they felt great that the neighbour was a brahmin or they lived in a brahmin neighbourhood.

I had the opportunity to know some of the early fighters and they had a political vision simillar to the progressive Tamils from Tamilnadu. I do not see that, in ordinary Eelam refugees in India or in Europe. I have not heard any of you people understand the struggle of other nations in servitude. You just think that the world does not know what is happening in Eelam without raising a finger to make them understand.

Most of the refugees do not even tell their colleague that they came here because they had problems with a genocidal govt. in SL. Some(or is most) even try to claim asylum by blaming the LTTE for their running away from genocide. Must it not occur that the Judge and the legal fraternity is bound to think of LTTE as another Khmer Rouge or Pirabhakaran ( or must it be written as Pirabhaharan to give the Sanskrit grantha Ha more prominence) as Pol Pot.

While we should complain about the apathy of media and human rights activist, we have given them a cause. Even loyal LTTE supporters and activists have done the same when they applied for asylum.

Now tell me; who has been selfish all their lives?, who watched Rajni film SIVAJI to make record money for Rajnikanth in Europe?, who brings in brahmin priests from India and fall at their feet ? who pays more money to godman Sai Baba than to the Tamil cause?

Indian Tamils need not fight for Eelam Tamils. Yet Vaiko, Nedumaran, Kovai Ramakrittinan, Kolathur Mani, Arichamy, Shanmugha Sundaram, Perarivalan. You will be surprised even Muslim Tamils like Prof. Abdul Kadher in particular had dedicated their lives for the cause of Tamil Eelam national liberation.

In Killinocchi Maaverar Thuyilum Illam, I saw the grave of a Tamil boy from Tanjavur. I can only quote from " An Irish Airman Foresees his death"
My country is TANJAVUR*,
My countrymen TANJAVUR* poor,
No likely end could bring them loss
Or leave them happier than before.
Nor law, nor duty bade me fight,
Nor public men, nor cheering crowds,

* In the original poem it is Kiltartan, a place in Ireland. I have changed it to Tanjavur to make my point.
